 Their analysis found connections between low levels of vitamin D and lack of sleep. 
 They also found that deficiency of vitamin D in the body were linked to poor sleep quality.

  • Vitamin D is found in a small number of foods, including egg yolks, oily fish, liver, fortified foods, and  red meat,

  • “But  for many people its difficult to get enough vitamin D from food alone, so they can  consider taking a daily supplement of vitamin D of 10 micrograms  during the autumn and winter.





 During late March/early April to the end of September, you can get  the enough vitamin D from sunlight and a balanced diet you need in your body for your better sleep .

Cautions of Supplements .

 “You may opt not to take a vitamin D supplement throughout these months.”



  •  Because intake of more than 100 micrograms of vitamin D a day could be harmful.


  •   The NHS also warns: Taking too many vitamin D supplements over a long period of time can cause too much calcium in the body and this can weaken the bones and damage the other organs .

  •  “Some people have medical issues this means they should  safely intake the supplements. If in doubt, you should consult your doctor.”
